The trimmings brand of JLS Designs, is renowned for its assorted library of classic and contemporary trimming designs. With two generations of experience and distinctive design forming a solid foundation for the JLS Designs brand. Combined with a strong partnership with Maison Thevenon of Paris, JLS Designs is able to offer leading fabric collections twice a year, incorporating jacquards, prints, velours, plains & weaves that are inspired by internationally recognised designers in fashion and interiors.

 

Joanna Stace-Sadler

Head of design, Joanna Stace-Sadler, who was inspired by her late fathers love of trimmings, has a life long passion for trimmings, She has been fortunate to have worked with some incredible designers and manufacturers affording her the opportunity to develop designs, colour combinations as well as some unique trimming articles.
JLS Designs is able to offer a bespoke design service for commercial projects as well as the supply of stocked collections of beautiful trimmings of embroidered tapes, hand-tied tassels, fringes, cords and tie-backs. JLS Designs believe a personal relationship with all our customers is of great importance and in these uncertain times customer service is our top priority.

Since 1908 the Maison Thevenon has cultivated the art of textile creation thanks to outstanding printed and wovenfabrics based upon four generations of French textile tradition.
Today Vincent Thevenon is spearheading a new era at the famous French company, bringing his passion for design, colour and material with twice yearly collections.
At Maison Thevenon creation is at the core of the Company’s values, projected through a team of dedicated designers. To support the strategy, Maison Thevenon associates its collections with renowned names of French design, such as InkFabrik, Patrick Plattier, Nathalie Lété, Prune Cirelli, Pierre Sauvage & Carolina Irving, Robert le héros… to name but a few
